See how I stencil!
The Creality Ender 3 is a great utility printer but if you print a lot you are going to need to replace your stock Bowden extruder or you are going to have issues. I have 8 Ender 3’s, all pretty close in age, I have upgraded several with Aluminum Bowden Extruders. Those I have not, are starting to have issues with extrusion as seen in the video. Save yourself some frustration and swap it out early.
This fix applies to the Ender 3 and Ender 3 Pro 3d Printers.
TIME TO INSTALL: 10 MINUTES
I have printed rolls and rolls of filament through my Ender’s and it is starting to show. Recently, I could not figure out why my printers started having issues. As shown below.
The catch is, I have 8 Ender 3’s that print all of the time. Several I installed an Aluminum Extruder kit already, the ones I did not started to have issues with underextrusion. The filament was binding at a groove caused by filament wearing away plastic. I can see it on every single printer that has not been upgraded. Since they are all about the same age, they are all doing it at the same time.
